Elevator Pitch

I believe that creating a good game involves more than just designing levels - it requires the creation of a rich and immersive world, where players can use their agency and make meaningful choices that impact their gameplay experience. As a Level Designer, my role is to help guide players through this world and facilitate the creation of an unforgettable experience that is both fun and engaging.

About me

I'm Simon, a highly motivated level design student that is currently studying at The Game Assembly. My passion for video games started when I was just a little child, playing any games my dad or I by myself brought. Even to this day my love for video games have not diminished.

I graduated from high school in 2013 and wasn't sure what to do with my life. I started my work career and had a few different jobs since then. But in 2019, I found my calling - I could become a Level Designer and develop games! I've always loved games and have been playing them my whole life, so I know I can become a great Level Designer and Developer! :D

Fast forward to today, I live in Stockholm with my wife and child, and I believe that finding a balance between work and personal life is crucial for maintaining good physical and mental health. By achieving this balance, I am able to dedicate myself to my work with a clear and focused mind, while also prioritizing quality time with my family and hobbies. As someone who values both professional growth and personal well-being, I strive to cultivate a healthy work-life balance in all aspects of my life.
